Invitation to the Scandinavian Days

On 7 March the Embassy of the Republic of Finland hosted a meeting to discuss this year's Scandinavian Days.

The choice of venue was not coincidental, as the Embassy is the strategic partner of this year’s Scandinavian Days. In Warsaw, Mayor of Szczecin Piotr Krzystek discussed the coming event with the Ambassadors of Scandinavian countries.

The Scandinavian Days begin on 30 March. This extraordinary event, dedicated to furthering Polish-Scandinavian cooperation, is being held for the fourth time. The programme includes a number of conferences and business meetings, and also a wide range of side events: concerts, performances and film screenings.

This year’s Honorary Guests include His Excellency Karsten Klepsvik, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Her Excellency Inga Eriksson Fogh, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Her Excellency Hanna Lehtinen, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland, His Excellency Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, experts from the Polish Ministry of Development, representatives of academic circles and local governments (including representatives of partner cities from Scandinavia (Esbjerg/Denmark, Malmö/Sweden) and friendly cities (Egersund/Norway), as well as representatives of businesses, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and artistic and cultural communities.
