The Scandinavian Days are coming tomorrow!

We are only one day away from the next Scandinavian Days. The festival’s wide range of attractions will ensure that there is something for everyone. Let’s take a look at the most interesting events of the first day.

It’s not a secret that cycling is great fun. What’s more, long rides along picturesque routes provide plenty of beautiful views. What sights await the participants on the bicycle journey to Sweden? At 8.15 am by the Adam Mickiewicz monument about 100 participants will set off on a journey to Skåne. Mayor Piotr Krzystek and the Ambassadors of Scandinavian countries will personally inaugurate the trip. At 10 am the Radisson Blue hotel will be hosting the “Energy of smart cities” business conference. Polish and foreign experts will be discussing the latest trends in smart city management, public transport, environmental protection and university cooperation with business institutions. The conference will be accompanied by the second Scandinavian Business Mix cooperation exchange forum. Over 100 business will be presenting their package.

The Trafo Centre for Contemporary Art will host an exhibition of graphic works prepared by primary- and middle-school pupils. The exhibition's main theme is the sustainable development of smart cities. Visitors will be given the opportunity to vote for the works. The winners will be announced on 2 April. The exhibition opening hours are 11 am - 7 pm. www.trafo.org

At 6 pm the Delta Club will be hosting the Cinematic Scandinavian Days, featuring a screening of “The Disciple”. www.klubdelta.pl
