Scandinavian Days at the Philharmonic

April’s the time for us to pay homage to Scandinavia! And it’s not only through Edward Grieg’s unique and internationally known suite “Peer Gynt”, to be performed by the Philharmonic’s Symphony Orchestra, that we’re going to do this, but also through the exceptional Scandinavian culture and tradition.

Who were the Vikings and where did the horns on their helmets come from? Can fiords eat from our hands? You’ll find out about these and more at the “Swedish Buffet” concert, which will take you to a world abounding in treasures of nature – to a place where people say “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing!”

The concert starts on Sunday, 03 April 2016, at 17:00, in the symphony hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic. Tickets are available at the ticket office of the Philharmonic and on www.filharmonia.szczecin.pl.
