Polish-Scandinavian discussions on senior policy
This year’s Scandinavian Days involve a number of events connected with business and international cooperation. However, it is also an ideal occasion to exchange experiences related to the activities undertaken by regional and local governments in the social sphere.
The Social Affairs Division of the Szczecin City Hall, along with the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Szczecin, invites you to the Scientific Conference entitled “Elderly care – the Polish and Scandinavian solutions”.
The meeting will feature a presentation of various elements of the system of providing care to dependent elderly people in Scandinavia and Poland. The invited specialists will be discussing such subjects as elderly care according to the Nordic model, the system of care for dependent elderly people in the context of an ageing society, and technology in social care.
The conference will also feature the stalls of companies which provide products and services to facilitate elderly care, and a photographic exhibition, “Bliżej siebie” (“Closer to each other”).
The conference begins at 10 am.
