Czesław Śpiewa

The musical army of Czesław Mozil, i.e. the band Czesław Śpiewa. Beside the jury of the popular talent show, there are graduates of the Royal Danish Music Academy and the Rhythmic Music Conservatory.

Their music is the result of extraordinary jokes and biographical anecdotes of each of them. In the concert repertoire Czesław Śpiewa, apart from the songs from the latest album, there will also be hits from the two previous albums of the band, "Debiut" and "Pop", and the achievements of the first band of Czesław Mozil - Tesco Value. The musicians will take their listeners on a crazy journey to the land of subtle sounds of tango, pop, folk and avant-garde, using a wide range of instruments. Glass bells, accordions and ukuleles are just a few of the many cogs of this musical machine. There will also be a lot of Czesław Mozil himself, who successfully combines an unpretentious stand up with a musical impetus of a multi instrumental concert.

Viking themes in music. From Wagner to today. The lecture of Jakub Szostak - a member of the Viking Scientific Circle, a student of the second year of Norwegian philology at the University of Szczecin

Vikings are primarily associated with geographical discoveries and raiding expeditions. In their everyday life there was also music, whose motives can be found also in contemporary culture. These Viking elements occurred, among others in Wagner's music, while today they are often used in pop music and pop culture. In this regard, it should be mentioned, for example, the "Immigrant Song" Led Zeppelin and music composed for the film Thor Ragnarok. However, the greatest inspiration of Vikings is seen among the creators of metal music. Music groups such as Bathory and Amon Amarth are today called the classics of the genre.

Lecture by Anita Szynkowska titled "Foodsharing in Poland and Scandinavia"

organized by the Viking Scientific Club of the University of Szczecin.

Foodsharing, or the idea of sharing food, was established in Germany in 2012. It is an expression of protest against excessive wasting and throwing away food. Every year, around 1.3 billion tons of products reach the garbage, it is estimated that it is 30% of all food produced. In Poland, we can take extra food to Jadłodzielnia, i.e. special places to which volunteers bring food and distribute it. Another, more self-service form is cabinets, refrigerators or boxes in public places. In the Scandinavian countries, the process of sharing food is so advanced that legal regulations have been developed to support restaurants and markets in sharing food.
