Oxford debate competition on
Scandinavian themes, aimed at students
of high schools in Szczecin

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit small Scandinavia during the

The duo of Swedish musicians, Daniel Reid (saxophones, accordion)
and Arvid Rask (guitar), will present Nordic music in various
constellations and arrangements to the Szczecin audience, including
their own compositions, as well as pieces from the world music
genre.

Presentation of Scandinavian literature books in designated
branches of the Municipal Public Library in Szczecin.

Entry for 1 PLN for the slogan "I love Szczecin" spoken in one of the
Scandinavian languages. (does not apply to the
"Motoeksperymentarium" exhibition)

Scandinavian Re-Creation is a unique intergenerational (seniors and
school youth) workshop where we give new life to plastic and other
waste!
Inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and an ecological approach,

together we will create jewelry, toys and everyday objects from
materials that usually end up in the trash.
Our mission is to show that less plastic means a better future for
oceans and nature around the world.

Piotr Cholewa - graduate of the Jan Paderewski Academy of Music
in Poznań. The performer collaborates with the Szczecin Opera at
the Castle and the Orchestra in Stargard. In his musical activity, he
popularizes and promotes organ and chamber music, presenting
both lyrical, full of subtle sounds pieces as well as monumental,
pathetic forms. The repertoire includes well-known and popular
pieces by Scandinavian composers.:

3. Edvard Grieg - Peer Gynt Suite (fragments)
4. Oscar Lindberg - An old song from Dalarna

Scandinavian cinema will visit the Delta Club! The most interesting
productions of recent years will appear on the screen: the Oscar-
nominated "Girl with a Needle", the black comedy "Another round"
and the Icelandic road movie "Matka Siedzi z tyłu". The screenings
will be preceded by meetings with Krzysztof Spór.

Symphonic concert, Grandioso, one of a series of concerts during
which the most important works of classical music are presented.
During this concert, you will be able to listen to works by Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart and Ludvig Van Beethoven. The conductor for this
evening will be the former Director of the Philharmonic Rune
Bargmann, considered one of the most talented Scandinavian
conductors.

A performance for the youngest (1+) based on traditional Polish and
northern lullabies in new arrangements.
This is not a typical performance, it is not a typical concert, it is more
of a musical meeting during which parents or grandparents with
children and grandchildren will be able to listen to traditional Polish
and Scandinavian lullabies and actively participate in the activities.
Sitting on soft pillows, we will be transported to a delicate land on the
border between reality and sleep. "Lullabies of the North" is an
invitation for the young viewer to sing together with their parents, an
invitation to create music together and build a world in which the
main role is played by the child with parents or grandparents. This is
a great opportunity to feel together, family like and warm.

Meeting with a Polish-Norwegian writer and sociologist who will talk
about her book I am not your Pole. Report from Norway.

Szczecin Bike Club Gryfus invites you once again to a bike rally to
Scandinavia organized as part of the Scandinavian Days in
Szczecin. This time we will visit Ystad, Malmö, Copenhagen and
many other beautiful places.
